Hi,
Just wondering if you had started him out using the food in a square to food in a circle to food in a triangle start pad method or did you start with that laid track.
cheers,

Morning, Koach. Started the whole litter from time they were six weeks old, scattered the tracking bait I use in a huge area, like feeding chickens. After they've had breakfast, I bring the pups in a 'herd', open the gate and let them into the field, saying "such, such". Then watch the show! Good way to see who has the focus, and who's goofing off. :) This was the first track I actually put down for him.

that's how i start a litter too.
its so fun to watch how each pup is different, some get a great meal, others stay a bit hungry.
next session the hungry ones are much more motivated to search out their meal.
