Best person to ask would be the breeder. They are the ones that have the female, know what she has to offer and what they were hoping to get from the combination. Since it's a somewhat close linebreeding, they should be able to discuss what the dogs from Erasmus typically produce and what they were looking for. Maybe they can tell you if they got it.
Maybe they just bred two dogs and can only talk about the placement of the parents or dogs in general. You can sort those with a plan from those without by asking a few simple questions. One thing is for sure. There is no one on PDB that is in a better position to answer your question than the breeder. After that, you're on your own.

trixx, I had an Erasmus grand kid, not line bred though so no help there. If you haven't done so already, you can look at reverse line breeding for Erasmus and see if there are any note worthy.
best,

Yasko vom Farbenspiel is not a very successful branch, looking at all the extraordinary and best available females he mated and yet produced very few successful progeny. Erasmus van Noort is considered by many a complete failure as a producer, the better brother was Larus von Batu who was successful but yet not what was hoped for. Why would a breeder linebreed on Erasmus van Noort beats me personally.

I have not done a showline breeding for quite a while and don't know much but one thing I do know is that I would run the other way before doing a linebreeding on Erasmus (and Yasko as well for that matter). You might get lucky but if not you could end up with major ear problems. These ears could be so big and wide that they will either not stand at all or be very "friendly" (waving at you whenever the dog is in motion). Not something I would want to toy with. However, genetics can be funny and it always depends on the individual dog. If both (male and female) have the phenotype for small strong and firm ears, it might not be anything to worry about.
Just food for thought.

In another post the breeding is shown and it is a 4-4 on Erasmus parental lines not Erasmus as the breeding is on Erasmus and his full brother which is not a 3-3. There is also a 4-4 on another unrelated male so ante up the Xbox breeding fee ($1500 ??) shuffle the cards and deal. Xbox is making some nice puppies so probably as good a shot as any and better than most. Apparently the Xbox breeder is fine with the mating so therefore I am as well. Good luck and hope she has 6 healthy puppies (my favorite litter size) 3 male and 3 female that look like mom and dad.

ok , i found a dog and his line breeding is very similar he just has one extra line breeding on Jango , he looks like a decent dog.
compared to the puppy pedigree i am looking at.

there are also a bunch of litter mates too.
i am still thinking about this breeding. and taking a chance as they are fair priced.
