Jyl

Well I got up this morning and let Xena (the one in my avitar) out to potty and started getting ready to go to SchH training. I loaded my tracking bait and some water for myself and Xena. I fed my ole guy.

So far so good, right?!...

Then I went to grab the 2 blinds that I have at my house...

Now here is where things start going DOWN HILL..

I put the first blind in my truck. Like I normally do. I load them with the spoke against the bed of my truck so no one (including myself) impale themselves. Then I loaded the second one..... Now this is where it went ALL WRONG!!! As I was loaded the second blind it kinda slipped out of my hand a little bit and I ended up punching a golfball size hole in the back window of my truck... ok that pissed me off!! Well I went to open my truck door to grab my cell phone to call the Training Director to let him know I was going to be a TAB BIT late...lol. Well when I shut my door the whole window in the back SHADDERED.. Ok now I am REALLY PISSED. To top if off, it was starting to rain as I did this.. then I went to get a tarp to put over the window, but there was one small problem. The last tarp was in use, it was covering up all the wood so it wouldnt get wet. Now it is starting to rain a little harder and I am now pissed beyond belief!! I called my Dad who lives on the other side of town and THANKS GOODNESS he had a tarp to loan me..... THANKS DAD!!

So to make a long story short. I ended up not going to training today. I now have a broken out window in the back of my truck. Luckily it should be all good Monday morning...

Here is what my truck looks like now...

Hope everyone else had a better training day!!!!

I can definitely relate, except I probably would have speared myself.  Those are the days you don't want to go to training.

Remember Murphy's law:  "What ever can go wrong, will go wrong at the worst possible time."  I think Murphy was an optimist.

LOL! Sorry to laugh at your misery, but... LOL! Some days you'd just be better off staying in bed!

Hope you have insurance on the windshield! That would be nice....er.......laugh

Yea, I have insurance. Safelite is on their way to come and fix it. I probably would have been better off staying in bed too..lol

Jim, with how accident prone I am I am lucky I did not spear myself too. I probably would have had a bad training day anyways...lol.

I guess the only good part about this is that Xena was not in her crate yet, as there was alot of class that went into the crate. So I am lucky she was not hurt, or myself for that matter. My pride was knocked down a few peggs though..lol

Perfect time for a slider!

I thought about getting a slider too. But decided to go with the full window like I had before.

I can look back on the incident now and laugh about it. But I sure WASNT laughing when it happened. I said enough cuss words to make a sailor blush..lol. Oh well, at least my window is clean and the back seat of my truck got really vaccummed..I also really hosed out the back of my truck to get rid of all the glass. I had to clean the dog crates out too because there was glass in there too.

Now lets hope that this coming Sunday I have MUCH better luck!!
