For those who wanted updating it's easier to make a new thread so this won't get lost in the old one.
The * under disposition and disposition date means the info is not available online. Sorry there's not better info.
I suppose you can call the courthouse and find out more. From looking at the rest of her record (and it's LONG) it's been taking about 4-8 months for anything to happen. She should have been arraigned by now but probably not been to trial yet.

Here is exactly what she's charged with right now according to the California Penal Code
(b) (1) Any person who knows or reasonably should know that a
person is an elder or dependent adult and who, under circumstances or
conditions likely to produce great bodily harm or death, willfully
causes or permits any elder or dependent adult to suffer, or inflicts
thereon unjustifiable physical pain or mental suffering, or having
the care or custody of any elder or dependent adult, willfully causes
or permits the person or health of the elder or dependent adult to
be injured, or willfully causes or permits the elder or dependent
adult to be placed in a situation in which his or her person or
health is endangered, is punishable by imprisonment in a county jail
not exceeding one year, or by a fine not to exceed six thousand
dollars ($6,000), or by both that fine and imprisonment, or by
imprisonment in the state prison for two, three, or four years.

Thanks, mobjack. So it would appear that she is not being charged with anything regarding the dogs, then? Sadly, we know that even with an elder abuse conviction, she's not going to do any jail time, let alone any prison time, and forced psychological counseling isn't going to have any effect whatsoever. <sigh> So it WILL begin again at some point.
At least it's unlikely that the system will permit her to care for her mother again...
Is there a link you can share leading to her complete record?

Most of the details will likely not be publicly available, because a vulnterable person [child or dependant adult] is involved.

Hexe,
She was not charged with anything regarding the dogs.
She's in the same court system (different courthouse) she was in before so they will have her prior charges and conviction available. Maybe the DA can use that but I'm not hopeful for even county jail time. Depending on the mother's conditon and how hard the DA is they could file additional charges. I'll check back on it in a couple weeks and update this thread if there's any changes.
I would share a link for her record but you have to pay a small fee for it so that's basically useless.
I did save it all though and would be happy to email it to you.
Sentencing, fines, etc. are not available online. You can get those by mail (SASE enclosed) or by visiting the courthouse and paying the copying fee. Disposition of the case IS available as far as dismissed/convicted, etc. there's no info there because they don't update the process until the trial is over or the charges dismissed.

mobjack, if you wouldn't mind emailing it, I can live with paying a small fee to have access to that info.
While the mistreatment of her mother is certainly the more serious of her crimes, she still ought to be charged for the neglect of the dogs as well--I wonder if the DA were to receive emails and letters from members of the public, possibly even from all corners of the world, asking that she be held accountable for what was done to the animals as well, if they would bring additional charges?
mudwick, you're right about the limited info, although I would expect that once there is something to report as far as the disposition of the case, the on-line record will reflect the sentencing information. For now, there isn't any disposition to report.

Somehow it doesn't seem like nearly enough punishment for her crimes. No further animal abuse charges either! I get the feeling she's going to pay a fine and never see bars.
Mobjack thanks for spending your dime and sharing it. Unfortunately, I really, really thought there would be more charges pending against her.
Hexe, I wonder what you wonder, too. Does the DA really know the whole story? Do they care? Or are the jails just too damn crowded already. Arrrgh! Justice needs to be done, here!
