Woo we had the storms today.  My friend down the road posted a pic on FB of basball sized hail.  Then I saw the yesterday weather and we had tornados in our area......I was gone to a dog show of course--glad I missed it but sorry my furkids were here alone................Hope everyone is OK.  Poor people in the Joplin MO area--they got hit hard today..................

Joplin sure looks atrocious! I pray they find survivors, still. The mangled vehicles, even huge dump trucks, are crumpled and flung about as proof of the power of this twister, should be an F4, so the weather man says.

I saw Al Roker on Today and he was showing pics and more pics and oh my it is so sad.  He was also saying that they are really hoping for no more bad weather but showed off in the sky it was real dark--he said there is literally no place for people to go.  Today we have some storms moving through but they are4 saying tomorrow is going to be a record day and it is supposed to be really bad here.  Well the sad part about that is whatever is here generally goes that very direction--I truly am more worried about them then us because at present we have safe places.  They have nothing............

I heard there's a bad one headed for Pittsburg PA 24-48 hours. This is getting crazy.

Horrible!  Makes me realize how helpless we really are.  No match for nature.

Wow Pittsburg?  Isn't it kind of unusual for tonadoes that far north?  This is really a weird year for storms--as far as the intensity of them and people getting killed.  OKla., Alabama, Mo. and now PA.  Everybody batten down the hatches.  I know we sort of expect them here and probably are as used to them as we are gonna get but I really feel for the people that have no idea about them..........I guess that sounds kind of strange......oh well, consider the source!!!

We had one for the first time in my life about 8 years ago down the mountain. Did alot of damage but nothing like the one in the video I posted. I remember this one followed a dirt road the whole way, it couldn't make it up the mountain.

I couldn't imagine one starting ontop a mountain and going down the mountain ... can that happen ?  I mean with gravity and all ? (gezzzz)

Wow BE that's sort of bizarre.........I know we have these little mountains here and they happen in them and take out lots of stuff.  Not sure where they start because I live about 20 miles north of there and have never been there in bad storms..............
