There's numerous examples of motherhood in the animal kingdom that touch me. If I could ever find it there was a YouTube vid that showed a mother Water Buffalo (and her herd) fighting off a pack of lions that had grabbed her baby and were trying to take it away and fighting with the lions and getting her baby back.
But the best one for me is "Elsie" from "Born Free".
