Windows 7 Service Pack 1 now available
Very slow Download (44mB), very slow installation and Configuration
Would suggest that this is done on its own, without any other use of Computer
Start Download if not Automatic and keep checking (needs occasional input) takes at least an hour

I uninstalled the service pak and 9 today. Just didn't like them. I mainly use FF.

can understand not liking IE9, do not use it myself, but any update and Service Pack increases security for those times you have to use IE. ( when a link takes you there, for instance)
At least install the service Pack, see url's below
