Dogo's don't come in rednose and he's too small at 10 months. He's a bulldog, he's just got a lot of growing to do. My intact male didn't mature until he was between 3 and 4 years old. And since this dog is already neutered he's going to be taller then if he were left intact. But i don't think he will be gigantic.
His head needs to start spreading. then he'll look like a bulldog.

Thank you Fry!  We are in obedience class.  I actually have been told I am too hard on him.  The trainer said he is really sensitive.  He loves to play with other dogs but does not pick up on dog cues.  He has rude puppy behavior (lol).  I also have him in a day care twice a week where they work with him playing with other dogs. I knew when i decided to take him I had to make sure I had the proper care for him.  I was completely unfamiliar with this breed.  I did use to own a Neapolitan Mastiff who had passed away years ago.  Thank you for your input I really appreciate it.

Good for you for taking on this fellow and doing all the right things. My shepherd at 3 months was asked not to come back to doggie day care as apparently she was too bossy.  Sounds like you have good dog and you are a good person for taking him on.

Bulldog can be sensitive and then the next day you need to put a boot in their ass. My trainer who i do Schrzuhund with says i'm way too soft. And he has another client that will not correct her GSD at all. I like to keep my own training down the middle. I try to be fun and fair with toys and treats. But if she's giving me the doggie finger i will correct the dog. They are smart, but it think the girls are smarter then the boys. While he's busy trying to pee higher on the pole she's doing trig! Have fun and keep going to class. He will come around and toughten up. Then you will need that stronger correction.
I miss my boy, he was a big dumb goofy lunk head. But we all loved him and he made friend everywhere he went. He was a great example of a bulldog.
Enjoy
Fry

I agree with Eldee....your doing all the right things BEFORE things start to happen in the wrong direction. Good for you and good luck with your new dog!
