An adult GSD is "allowed" an overbite the width of a common stove match stick. The puppy in the photo is normal.

Quite agree, molly. Have seen some sad outcomes with grown animals struggling to chew/tear certain foodstuffs.

Hi,

does the bite needs in orthodontic correction? Or I should wait until  jaws will stop to grow? My pup has overbite about 5 mm. He is 6 months old.  And his low incissors have bad alignment. His bite had turned to over at the age of 10 weeks. And the right side is not the same as the left. There are a little asymmetry.
