How do you find out what the % of hip ratings are in a male or female's offspring. And where do you go if they are imports to find out how many litters have been bred from the Stud or Dam.

A fast way to check the (registered) offspring of any dog and its/their hip ratings is through the cd-rom: "SV-genetics". If you forward an e-mail-address and the names of the dogs you wish to check, I will send you the info.

I had rear about this CD ROM, SV GENETICS, could you tell me how do I buy one? I live in Brasil and I am very interested in HIP RATINGS. I believe the HD is a big enemy of the breed, biger than we think, we must keep our breed health!

Go visit the SV-website:

Then look for the "SV-Shop". You will find an explanation how to order things, and you will be able to order it immediately after securing your payment, by credit card probably, if you don't have a bankaccount in Germany. I received it within a weeks time.
Just like the pedigreedatabase, it's a MUST for every GSD-fan.

There is not much on the OFA site and when I look for her Dam she is an import also and not much under her. If you could help me I would be grateful. Thank you for your time. Robin

Good to rear from futball (soccer), here it is really our favorite sport!. Where are you from? Anything you want from Brasil, just let me know, thats gonna be a pleasure to help.
Here we are improving a lot in terms of German Shepherd Dog, the shows are always an atraction for new comers and now some pleople start to bring some dogs from the work sector. Do you know anything about? are those dogs really good in terms of hips? I mean, are they really better in term of hips? how about the temperament? They look WILD, and I like that, but I am not sure if they are really all people say!
