If a dog will not out will it affect their ratings or just their scores.

by Het on 20 June 2005 - 15:06

I think it disqualifys them?? But I have seen on papers that they will say dog doesn't out...so maybe it doesn't Heather

If a dog does not out on third command its is disqualifed.

by HileHaus on 20 June 2005 - 16:06

If the dog is trialing for a SchHH title it is disqualified if it does not out on the third command. However, if the dog does not out during a Korung it will just say "dog does not out" in its critique.

In addition to the Sparky/HileHause comments, if a dog does not out at a Sieger Show it will receive a T1 rating. Also, for every time the dog does not out in a SchH test, you are docked 3 points (doubled since new rules took effect 2004). So lets say the dog needs 2 commands to out too many times during the protection routine, then it will really affect the C scores and a passing score may even be in jeopardy. You need a C score of 80 in order to be eligible to continue to the next level and be eligible to participate at the KKL.

If it does not out during their Korung can they get a kkl2? just for that.

by D.H. on 20 June 2005 - 22:06

no, just states - dog did not release (lasst nicht ab) for an example look here: http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/122545.html

If the dog doesn't make a score of 80 on his first try, can he try again later in life? OR is that it..no more chances?
