I just had to share this...was playing with my pup today, and the not-so-little stinker took the tug away,(I let him win when we play tug, and we don't do it too often), then ran to the other side of the living room, laid down, untied the pull cord, pulled it out, then jumped up with the tug & gave me a look like "I fixed you now!" and took off around the house like a mad dog, stopping every so often to do that 'play with me' bow. Now all I need is for him to learn to retie the cord, and I'm in real trouble!! I laughed until I cied. I guess you had to be there, but the devilly look in his eyes was priceless. He knew he was getting away with something!!! Who needs movies or TV? These dogs are such a trip! I just love my dogs! jo

LOL!! Yesterday, Ranger was getting a bit rough with Star, to the point where the hair went up on her back. He then took the puppy Kong my friend bought for her, and lay down to have a good chew. Star wandered off, and found her own toy, a stick. Well as soon as my big boy saw that in her mouth, he took off after her like a shot. I yelled at him and he stopped, and Star came over to me, and lay down under the picnic table.
He went and got the Kong, and dropped it at her feet, and let her chew on it!
Awwwww!

Funny stuff Jackie and Sunsilver,
My husband lets the little pups get on his lap in the living room. No matter what I tell him about "later" he does it with at least one pup out of every litter, usually the one we keep. I really MUST get a video of Chanel, now nearly 7 mos. old, tearing through the front door, muddy and wet, straight for the husban's lap as he is relaxing in front of the TV with a beer in his hand.
Funny stuff.

LOL, Shelley! The first thing my pup did, the very first time I saw her, was come running to me when I called, and put both paws up on my legs. I still did an evaluation on her, but I have to say, that got things off to a REALLY good start!
She's 18 weeks now, and 40+ pounds, and I still let her put her big puppy paws up in my lap when I'm sitting at the computer. I keep telling myself not to, think about later, when she's grown, but she just has such a wonderful, happy look on her face when she does it, it's very hard to resist!
