I have chosen 12 names so far and all of them have been declined.

I have American akitas and I am open to suggestions also.

How about simply using the word Akitas backwards....SATIKA AKITAS?? lol,lol. Although that may have been applied for many times. Sure someone here will come up with something. Would be helpful if you posted the rejected names also.

When I had my kennel affix, I jumbled up the first two letters of my 2 Christian names and surname.

If you take your username without the letter c, you could have the following:

ELENIA
ENELIA
LAENIE
ANELIE

You could also jumble up the name AKITAS to get:

KAISAT
KIATAS
SAITAK
TAIKAS

Who is declining the names? Is it the kennel club or the PDB.

If you are trying to get a member name with your kennel name being used that would mean that you are trying to get a second user name which is not allowed.

I think she might mean the Kennel Club, Western - though I must say its very unusual for quite so many Affixes to be declined by our KC. The usual reason given is that the suggested Kennel Name being applied for is too close to a Kennel already in existence.

If it were me, I'd compose a list of as many American Akita and Akita Inu kennels [exhibitors and non-exhibitors alike] as I can find in the BRS and Dog Press, Show Catalogues, etc and make sure my next application avoids being similar by anything more than a letter or two to any of them !
