California is about to pass a law allowing individual citys and counties to pass breed specific legislation. The individual citys and counties would not be able to bann a breed but could require them to be spayed or neutered and have regulations placed on them as to where they can go and what they can do. This can effect any breed on the 'dangerous' breed list or not. If you live in California, please step and send letters or e-mails to your local representives. If you do not live in California, send them anyways. Let the government know what people think. These laws would not take into account whether or not a dog is well bred, titled and worth a lot of money. The owners of reputable kennels would be required to spay/neuter their dogs, sell their dogs or move out of the area. Let's defend our right to own the dogs we want and not be presecuted for things other people did wrong.
