Pedigree - Lerry Von Der Vilsquelle - Page 1

Hello everyone. I was browsing the net to find out about my new pup's pedigree, and this site is amazing. My question is in regards to the pedigree for Lerry Von Der Vilsquelle. From the pedigree on this site, V Quandor vom Elbbachtal is in his pedigree, but according to the papers that I have it's Quandor Vom Hirtgarten. Is anyone familiar with this dog? I don't find anything for Quandor Vom Hirtgarten on this site. Thanks!! Anna.

Do the SZ numbers match? It may just be whoever entered that info made an error. Or if it is another registry's pedigree like AKC that you are looking at, the AKC may have made a mistake when its progeny was imported.

Thanks for replying so fast :) The papers that I have aren't official registry papers. My pup's Sire is directly imported from the Netherlands, and I received these papers from the breeder here, showing the lines. My next question was going to be how to go about obtaining the official papers for an imported dog. I have the AKC papers for the Dam. My other shepherd is american bred, so this is all new to me.

Contact your breeder. You should get or have gotten a litter registration form that you fill out and send to the registry with $, Then they will send you the official papers with a pedigree (if you pay a bit extra). Also find out from the breeder what registry the litter is under (its probably AKC since thats what the dam is). It sounds like just the sire was imported, and the pups were bred and whelped here, your pup is not considered an import. If the breeder had sent in his/her papers on the litter to the AKC in a timely manner you should have gotten this litter registration form at the time of sale. However if the breeder waited a bit to send in his/her papers he/she may still be waiting for them. Let me know what the breeder says.
