Hi Lujain,
Alex my son says he hope's you enjoy some of his drawings. He started drawing stuff he likes, usually some kind of Pokemon cartoon, so maybe you know these characters? Also, he went on a field trip to visit an artist studio in CT, USA that is now a National Historic site, http://www.nps.gov/wefa/index.htm He sketched an outdoor scene, but he says it isn't finished. And I think he also did a nice leaf study. Hope you like them.

Aunt beetree,
Before few days I made conversation for our class about Hellen Keller, she was the first deaf and blind person earned bachelor of arts degree. Hellen Adams was born on June 27, 1880 in Alabama, her family lived on a homestead.
Her education starting on May, 1888. Then Hellen moved to New York to attens Wright-Humason school for the deaf. Her writes: Hellen wrote 12 books. One of her artiest pieces of writing at age 11 was the forest king.
Good conversation?
I used google search.

Hi Lujain,
You make very good conversation, I do enjoy talking about art and other subjects with you. I think it is very interesting that you studied about Hellen Keller. She lived in a town not too far from where I live, too. You might be interested in this coincidence, my younger son Riley, who is your age, his school is putting on a play, starting tomorrow, called, "The Miracle Worker", and it is about the teacher, Annie Sullivan who helped Hellen Keller understand language with hand signals. There is a very old black and white movie that was made about this story, with the same name, maybe your Daddy knows about it? Patty Duke was the actress who played Helen Keller, and it is pretty remarkable. My son Riley and I watched it together, and he was very impressed by it.
About my art, thank you again. I have a bachelors degree in Fine Art. I have had gallery showings of my work, but it was a long time ago. I have sold a few paintings, too. I have a painting that I donated to a museum, too. I painted it about John Lennon, right after he was shot and killed. He was one of the Beatles, and I painted it as a memorial. It is the biggest painting I have ever done, I think, at five feet long, and four feet wide.
I really am enjoying our chats!

Lujain, I am so sorry I missed this thread!
Thankfully, you father hasn't lost his memory in his old age
and remembered to point it out to me!
Your art work is just beautiful!
I remember finding faces so hard to draw, especially the eyes but you have mastered it.
I'm not much of an artist, I am better molding with clay, but even then, I'm not that good. I do enjoy it though.
My son, like Bee's son. loves to draw cartoons. He does it so quickly it amazes me, but I have no pics on my computer, now I am wishing I did. :(
He was a huge pokemon fan, I think he still has the cards, but I don't think he'd admit it anymore.
He now is a lead guitarist in a rock and roll band. He'd like to be a star someday, I hope he makes it.
I hope you see this and show us more. I'd love to see it!
