This is the only way to eradicate this disease from the GSD,. Of course, you can still breed from her if you wish to if you are very careful and choose a clear stud dog. Another reason that everyone should test and publish the results, so that the right breeding decisions can be made, with full knowledge and disclosure of the status of all breeding animals. As Jacquenetta are maintaining a database of PD results, it would be really useful if everyone sends their results so that they can be added to the list, and a central database maintained.
