Okay, last questions...

What is the AD obedience like?

Is there a point to the dental notation for adult dogs?  The highest show rating we can get with ours is SG.  From what I read, the dental notation seemed important to dogs that could get V or VA.

Yes, owner will run the single round.

To be honest, all the ADs I observed and the one I did, the obedience part was left out. However, I did hang around till the end at the regional show in the past, so cant speak for them. If they should do, its just some simple heeling to prove that the dog isnt worn out so bad that it cant work/focus anymore.

The dental notation can be a security ticket for a later planned breed survey in case the dog looses a tooth and a vet didnt get involved or refuses to make a notation.

I was looking at the rules for the AD and it never mentioned the obedience.  Thanks for the clarification, Elkoorr

Yes, the off leash heeling is done by the owner. lol Sometimes it's a very scary thing because many do not heel well and take off and I've seen some dog fights. Please practice with distractions before hand.... this is meant for no one in particular... lol

Took Robby and Quinn to AKC show handling class the other night and both did very well, phew.  I only went so we could practice staying stacked for the examination and staying stacked under distraction.  I got a lot of, "are those German Shepherds? I've never seen them look like that".

I have handlers lined up, my dogs are cooperating with me haha; so I think it will be a fun weekend.

Thanks again everyone for the help!
