Gustav I thought you were kidding,  but also looking from the perspective of sport/work
temperament, over AKC expectations ?  Sorry if I got that wrong.

Kalibeck, Xeph :  form an orderly line please  :)               ...(behind me).

She is a very lovely bitch!

Hello all, Thank you for talking about my dog. She has tremendous drives and nice full grips.  The drive comes from Baru and Yellow. In my opinion anyway. She is very social and happy AND strong!! lol She yanks my arm off in prey drive!! More so than alot of my adults. Her gait is wonderful when she settles in and does it. Only things I would like to see more of is pigment and coat. Other than that she's great so far!

Interesting, Lasso was still very eager for bitework at 12, and as I recall kept a newbie like myself from kicking his prize away from him by tagging me hard in the leg. Most of the dogs I worked with that came down through him had pretty strong character.

I was under the impression Lasso had a good work ethic, too. As a matter of fact, I'm pretty sure I've seen that info posted on the board here from time to time.

Edit: this post from Bob-O, and quite a few others: http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/forum.read?mnr=193583-va5-lasso-di-val-sole

Sunsilver, it is a different Lasso. Although she does have that Lasso back in her pedigree also. The Lasso they are speaking of is "VA1 Lasso vom Neuen Berg"  Although I have seen at least one dog that was out of Lasso NB that had fantastic drives and had no other real work producers in her pedigree.

Thank you for bringing that up Isengard. Like I said I have seen some dogs out of Lasso that had great bite work. I tend to think that maybe he got a bad rap because of his being "chased" at the Sieger show? There is always the mother line too!

Debby, could you expound on this please?

I was not there, but he was chased and ran off the field at the Sieger show... This was shortly after he came to the USA. That's about all I know.
