JustLurkin:  The Democratic Party "brutally treated" Mrs. Edwards?  Sources, please.  I'd like to see where the Dem Party was brutal to her.  So, she chose not to rat out her husband.  Guess it's not a "private family matter" if it's a Democrat, right?

So, what else you got besides Clinton & Edwards extra-marital flings?  JustLurkin, c'mon, they PALE beside gay bathroom sex with strangers and a Congressman chasing boy pages, plus Rush ranting about criminals going to jail when he WAS one.  Not even close.

Watcher: I think that if Obama wins, the world opinion will DEFINITELY improve how America is viewed.  McCain also, depending on what he does with these 2 issues: torture, and Iran.

I might support McCain except for his statements repeatedly confusing Iraq & Iran (that's a mistake an average person might make, but the PRESIDENT?!), saying that we might have to go into Iran (!!!!!), and singing Bombbombbomb, bomb bomb Iran - not funny.

As to sending troops into Iran, what troops?  We're already overextended.  I have relatives in their late 40s, early 50s on their SIXTH tours in Iraq.  My kids have high-school classmates whose tours were repeatedly lengthened (stop loss).

Soldiers are going for Obama in a big way:

Careful Obama wanted to Bomb Pakistan !  Thought we had 57 states(confused with 57 Islamic States)...

Obama associated with radical church 20 years.

Was friends and worked with know terrorists Ayers.

Had business deals with a know criminal and helped him buy a house.

His wife has never been proud of america statement.

Only dis-assocaited from the church and ayers once ran for office.

His half brother lives in a hut on a tiny sum of money per year.

This is not my ideal of presidential material either!

Ok, gotta go do GSD things so will be offline for awhile.  My final comment for that while is this:

that whoever wins, the best thing will be that we can and we WILL all stick together after the election and not totally fall apart like some other countries do, that in this, the best country in the world, we can all PUBLICLY argue and disagree with no fear of the midnight knock on the door to take us away, and that although we might each think the other is NUTS when it comes to politics, I'd so happily raise a glass to the GSD with any one of you, and we could talk dogs all night long, whether you're a crazy American, German, Russian, Belgian, Spaniard, WHATEVER (and I'm sure they all think we Americans are nuts).

God bless you all.

Tess,

You're showing yourself to be nothing more than a political hack. Your perception that Republicans are engaged in this kind of behavior more often than Democrats is probably because Moveon.org doesn't include Democratic transgressions in their daily e-mail. I guess you would argue that Ted Kazinski is a better person than Timothy McVeigh because he wasn't as effective in his bombing campaign. Someone on the other side might argue that this proves that the left is just less competent. I would say they were both idiots. Please tell me how Pelosi has followed through on her promise to "drain the political swamp." Remind us all what it was that Trent Lott was engaged in. How was he disciplined? By whom? Remind us all what Wm. Jefferson of Louisianna was engaged in. How was he disciplined? By whom? We could go down this road all day long tit for tat from a Republican tapping his feet in the bathroom to a Democrat having a gay prostitution ring run out of his home, but none of this advances your vision for America's future. If you're a socialist or a Marxist, just say I believe that we should be a socialist or Marxist country, so I'm voting accordingly. If you believe that McCain is better than the alternative and is more likely to nominate strict constitutionalist judges, say that. Just don't say my party is better because they've raped fewer women or cheated on fewer of their dying sposes. It just makes you sound ignorant.

She is Kosher Approved

Notice the Israel Flag on her desk. I circled it for you to make it easier to see.

Not a damn thing will change. We're doomed. Buy Canned goods & ammo.

Ugly,

I can't say I agree with you about much, but I have to admire your ability to make every cloudy day somehow the fault of the Jews.

Something tells me Tess could give you a run for your money though regarding W. and the Republicans.

When Sen. John McCain tapped Alaska Governor Sarah Palin to be his running mate today, the Jewish political blogosphere -- as loud and fast and opinionated as (for lack of a better word) the Gentile Web -- came to a screeching halt.

After all, you can fight about John McCain, and Barack Obama, and Joe Biden . . .but Sarah Palin?

It took an Internet eternity for Jewish Republicans to come out swinging for Sarah, an just as long for Jewish Democrats to hit back.

"Homerun!" Larry Greenfield, the California director of the Republican Jewish Coalition, wrote me via e-mail five hours after McCain's announcement. "Governor Palin has a very close relationship with the Jewish community of Alaska, with Chabad (Rabbi Greenberg) and with AIPAC. She is close to the Frozen Chosen!"

TessJ10 you seem to have a short memory.

Eliot Spitzer, Democrat, former NY Governor and former NY AG - affair with high-priced prostitute.

James McGreevey, Democrat, New Jersey - had a gay affair.

Kwame Kilpartrick - Democrat, Mayor of Detroit - affair with chief of staff, conspiracy, felony perjury, the whistleblower scandal, the Greene (I think that was her name) scandal, violation of probation.

Marion Barry, Democrat, Mayor of D.C., - drugs, failure to pay federal and state taxes, acquitted of D.U.I. charges, operating an unregistered vehicle and misuse of temporary tags, tested positive for cocaine and marijuana at a mandatory drug test. Divorced three times.

Those are just the ones I can think of off the top of my had.

The Elizabeth Edwards bashing was on the news.  There were several newspapers that reported on it and I think I remember AP did a story on it too.

What I posted was from my recollection.  Feel free to knock yourself out if you care to search for the info yourself.

I damn sure don't have time to do it -- at least not right this minute.
