Nope, Maya is taking her own sweet time. She's fine, and late, but all is fine and hopefully the litter will come this weekend sometime.

Well, I was right - stayed home from training today because Maya was a bit restless - and sure enough, she started having her puppies this afternoon around 3 pm. So far two females, and one male. All VERY large, healthy, robust (read: FAT) puppies - I expect one more if she/he is the same size/weight. Maybe two.

First CONGRAT's! We hope Maya is doing well! Thanks for posting an letting us know. Are either of the females Black?Since you already stated the most important thing...they are all Healthy Fat and Happy Pup's...:) We hope you have more Happy and Healthy ones to add to the group!

no blacks - maya doesn't carry black recessive :) - we have sables and bicolors.

Hi,

I just had to tell you how much I love your pictures. You look at the proud mom working just on instinct, and wonder how some humans can't get it right. I could look at the last picture all day. It is like a stress releaser.
