I was that way once, with the Jehovahs, had many long talks in the drive with them.
Then they asked for money, I offered services, they said they didn't do things for anyone, I told them they were part of the problem and get the hell out.
Finally it took a Mac-11 to convince them to stop coming.
They tell their friends who they can and can't visit, they came in groups.
No more...

The Amish don't like the modern world, that's about all, they will cheat and lie like any other.
I admire them for not excepting the rest of the world but not their morals.

They don't come to our house here, because the dogs, and we are set pretty far back from any roads, but they always come to my mom's in CA, and seems like never fails I'm out visiting when they make their visits LoL.. I told the last one's I like birthdays and beer too much to convert..

They are a self serving bunch, those visits are like brownie points to get to heaven, I offered them a quicker way and they decided they'd rather hang out somewhere else instead.
