BTW - ford granted the 40 hours work week ...........and he paid twice the going rate...........before there were unions.
Get your history right!
Henry Ford also wrote 'THE International Jew'....a must read
Google it.
You blame the Union workers for what their Union negotiated. They are not at fault, most anyway.
Health Care costs, DUE TO Illegals' Subsidized care, is what kills America, Not to mention the 34% Coporate Tax rate,
2nd Highest in the World. Ive yet to hear you mention that Sitas..
As GM goes, so goes america.
Be careful what you wish for. Housing is dead, now car manufacturing is dead.
The flies and buzzards are circling this carcass known as AmeriKa.
You parrot the Neo CON mantra of blame the victim..so well.

no I don't blame the union negotiators
greed is everywhere including union negotiaters
greed to the point of distroying the money making company that signs the paychecks.

Dont be shortsighted.
Board Members & CEOs answer to Wall Street.
Earning per share, bottom line is what drives it all. Greed is good, remember?
You want to blame someone, blame the Banksters, the Wall Streeters, the Ones that are destroying Capitalism. THe Bolshevik Communists.
They Looted Russia for Billions. It cost them $20 Million financed by Jacob Schiff. They then Killed 66 Million Christians.
Christ cleansed the temple and called this group of people, the same ones in charge today..'Snakes, Serpents, Vipers, Liars, Hypocrites, Fathers of the Devil and Synagogue of Satan'
We will all become slaves and no one knows who to blame.
Obama makes a convenient fall guy....He is a puppet.

I don't know about all unions, but my IAFF (International Association of FireFighters) did lots of good for us. We received decent wages for our work, we had good benefits and retirement, we also had presumptive health covering some but not all of the health issues caused by the job. Normal FF hours per week where I live average between 53-58 and we get the overtime. I worked in a "Right to Work" state, the FF there had 72 or more hours per week and did not get overtime, they got straight comp time to be used at the municipalitys' discretion. Their Captains made what I did as a 5 year FF and it usually takes 15+ years to become a Captain. My brother currently works for a company that has no union in the same "Right to Work" state and is expecting his first child. He is constantly worried that he may get laid off with no severance package or health care. Unions have their place but there are corrupt unions just like there are corrupt companies. I just know that I could not have provided for my family as well if it wasn't for my union.
Oh and forgot to add that with unions, getting injured on the job doesn't cause you to lose your job. My union also had progressive discipline that protected the good and got rid of the bad.

According to a report issued by American Rights at Work,
30% of employers fire pro-union workers.
49% of employers threaten to close a worksite when workers try to form a union, but only 2% actually do.
51% of employers coerce workers into opposing unions with bribery or favoritism.
82% of employers hire high-priced unionbusting consultants to fight union organizing drives.
91% of employers force employees to attend one-on-one anti-union meetings with their supervisors.
And the systematic use of legal and illegal tactics impedes union organizing.
Aided by a weak labor law system that fails to protect workers’ rights, employers manipulate the government-supervised union recognition process in a way that allows them to abuse their power and significantly influence the outcome of union representation elections.
In 91% of the union recognition petitions filed with the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) in the survey, a majority of workers indicated they wanted a union before the process began. In several cases, workers demonstrated more than 80% support.
However, unions were victorious in only 31% of the campaigns in which they filed a petition.
How do these anti-union campaigns play out in the workplace? A recent New York Times article described what happens when workers try to organize
At the Consolidated Biscuit bakery in McComb, Ohio, Bill Lawhorn said more than 70 percent of the workers had signed cards in favor of joining the Bakery, Confectionery, Tobacco Workers and Grain Millers Union when he led efforts to form a union in 2002. Nonetheless, the union lost a secret-ballot election, 485 to 286, after Consolidated Biscuit conducted a vigorous anti-union campaign. Two years later a National Labor Relations Board judge found that managers had illegally spied on union supporters and had warned them that the bakery would go bankrupt if a union was voted in. so anytime a union is involved or contemplated the business always goes bankrupt and the owners of the business can see into the future .Wow I wonder why gm did not go under years ago? certainly the union worker always gets the blame! Why not the direstors of the company will never take the blame for their actions! I wonder how much money the gm board members have pulled down this year?

Correct Raymond. Its Blame the Victim, the working man, as always. Never the banksters..
USA has to start making their own 'stuff' durables, consummables and exports again.
We can't keep buying stuff ie Chinese crap and supporting Communism in so doing.
It's not capitalism that has failed; it's the debt economy that has failed.
The US economy can't survive if all we do is take out loans (at artificially low rates) to buy more 'junk.'
We actually have to produce something.
Unions are not, nor were the problem.
DEBT is THE PROBLEM. DEBT Created BY THE Fed directly, is the Problem.
A Debtor is a Slave to his Creditor.

http://www.upa.pdx.edu/IMS/currentprojects/TAHv3/TAH2_Content/Industrial_America.html I hopee the link works for some good reading on the history of labor unions for those who wish to know the truth. A side not for Uglydog Our dear friend Henry Ford adopted the 40 hr work week because studies proved it to be the most productive schedule known to man in manufacturing. He did not do it out of his good heart but his greedy fingers1post script yes the fed reserve is our biggest enemy for the bankers use it to rape us

(Henry Ford was a good man..correction, A Great Man.A quote from the anti semite or jew hater Uglydog) Yes I suppose you would consider Ford a great man ud! Was he also a great man because of his unwavering support of the nazis and hitler in the 1930s. Since he also hated jews then he surely is a role model for you! Hitler and his cronies hated Jews so they to must be your role models! Ah perhaps you wear a white hood and burn crosses at night! do you wear those special steel toed boots on the weekends? Should we be curious to see the variety of ink on your body revealing where your loyalties lie? A white supremist with the IKA

Henry Ford wrote about the People that Genocided 66 Million Christians, in Russia alone.
The National Socialist Party in Germany fought OFF Communism and Hitler restored Germany which was decimated after the Treaty of Versaille, we sided With Communism and allied with Russia, While Poland and Polish Jews Started WW2, Not Germany.
We didnt Win WW2. Geeneral Patton called it a 'defeat' and wanted to ReArm Germany and invade Russia.
Communism Spread to 11 nations AFTER the War.
These same Israeli Dual Citizen Communists now control our fate now in AmeriKa-Neo Cons, Federal Reserve et al . You seem happy with it.? Not Muslims, Not Christians but Bolsheviks. Sorry the truth isnt Polite.
And Im not an Anti Semite, Youre an Anti Gentile.
"We hate Christianity and Christians. Even the best of them must be regarded as our worst enemies. They preach love of one's neighbour and mercy, which is contrary to our principles. Christian love is an obstacle to the development of the revolution. Down with love of one's neighbour. What we need is hatred; only thus shall we conquer the universe."
-Anatoli Vasilyevich Lunacharsky
Komissar of Education in the Soviet Union (1917-29) -The Commissariat of Enlightenment
Under Stalin continuous persecution in the 1930s resulted in the near-extinction of the Orthodox church: "by 1939, active parishes numbered in the low hundreds (down from 54,000 in 1917), many churches had been leveled, and tens of thousands of priests, monks and nuns were persecuted and killed.
Over 100,000 were shot during the purges of 1937–1938.[51][52] During World War II, the Church was allowed a revival as a patriotic organization, after the NKVD had recruited the new metropolitan, the first after the revolution, as a secret agent. ...
