Just returned from the Nationals...

YellowRose, Larry has a 91 in Protection and a 99 in Tracking if I'm not mistaken.  His obedience is tomorrow.

Dave Kroyer has a 91 in Obedience and a 96 in Protection, tracking tomorrow.

I believe Dean Calderon received an 86 or something along those lines in obedience today.  His routine looked very nice until his dog did the retrieve over the A-Frame and returned over the hurdle.

I don't remember other scores off the top of my head! :-)

Took a ton of photos, will post tomorrow.

Come on Larry and Dave!!

to quote a competitor,,"its dog sport, what can you say"

this weekend i have seen very good dogs have problems and not so good dogs shine.   im not here to give evaluations on anyone, as i am not a judge or a competitor in this event.

sh#t happens,  you can only hope that all things fit together at the right time.

for anyone who thinks schutzhund is a "pattern" sport,   and that any dog can be trained enough to do it at any time, i would say go to a national event.  if you are that good of a trainer,  show at a national event.  prove to me and the rest  of the world its that easy.

i am in awe of the performances i have seen this weekend.   i too hope that one day i will be on the field with these people.

CONGRADULATIONS TO ALL WHO MADE IT THIS FAR.

have to go to bed, its late and they are starting early.

Ahhh Fooey. No points for cuteness at that level of competition no matter how entertaining. But don't count that team out yet.

The Cox guy won!!  He had a score of 287 with a 98 protection score, placing him over Carlos et al.  HE ewas also High HOT, Raging Bull Award and High Protection.  The High Protection and Raging Bull awards were mounted Texas Longhorns horns.   He'llplay hell getting that on the plane!!

Thanks TBm1874:  Yeah , thanks, Jeri just hung up and Carlos is probably second, Dave Kroyer is in the top ,  hate to admit it but GH is in top, DEAN had a small problem, probably somewhere in top 10 , have to wait and see....Jeri  and hubby and Myah headed back to Gal . before the presentations....P A system was a little below par, so she didnt hear all the last announcements. Larry did well, dont know placements yet....

  DEAN

looked great until.....dog made his own mind up where to return to......not over the A frame

Dave and Larry got to see Myah today and I was itching to hear what they thought of Larrys grand dog and Daves little school girl....

Cant wait for the whole results. to be posted..   Mahon overslept and didnt make it   Darn his hide...I could not go or I would have ended up in   JAIL    >>>>>>

DIdnt want to embarrass anyone or myself,  so I stayed home.
