Tracy  was co-owner of Biggi at the time of the show and owner or co owner of Kevin also...I think.....

Dont know who owns either dog now.....Sherman Tia owned Biggi with her......

I got the opportunity to meet Louise's Nimo last year. It was love at first sight for both of us.  He is a beautiful dog with an impecable temperament and the biggest smoozer I've ever met. I love both of the Ursus sons I've met up close and personal and would give anything to have the honor or owning a dog like Geronimo v Olympus and Galaxy v Ajaye. In my mind they are perfect. 4pack I'm sure  you'd change your mind about the showlines if you could spend just one hour with either of these outstanding dogs.

There have already been a million and one debates on this board regarding longcoats and why they should or should not be bred, so I won't open that Pandora's box again. The bottom line is - until the SV says it's OK to use them for breeding, they are not eligible for breed surveys. If you want to follow the SV guidelines and only use breed surveyed GSD's for breeding then you will not be breeding to or from a longcoat. If it's not a big deal to you, then you probably won't care if your dog is eligible for a breed survey or not. You be the judge.

YellowRose, the handler is Gerd Maier, son of Kurt Maier of vom Murrtal Kennels in Germany.   Although he knows very well how to correclty stack a dog, the pics of Kevin on the mag cover are not correct stacks and Gerd would be the first to say so.

I knew he was involved with Tracey and I know he is a great handler....You cant alway have a perfect pic.....He is great and I would never take anything away from him.......Everything goes so fast a the show and they snap these pics when the Judge is working and you can move once you get set.....I wouldnt want to criticize him

Thanks for the info....I have yet to see his name in all the mags,,,but all of Traceys dogs,,,,well a big part,   hes the one handling them.....His face  is as familiar as the dogs.....I have not been to any of the Nationals or SV shows ,,someday when I have hung up the last leash here, Ill make it for my pleasure to sit and enjoy the event...

Hey, did we miss something? Did anyone say "schmooze"!

by Blitzen on 07 September 2007 - 02:09

Isn't he beautiful? Ignore the old woman hugging him, that's Louise, not me

Now THAT is a great picture.  Anyone who can't see the love in both of their eyes is blind.

make her keep  the boy while you take a long cruise...

What--that damned, unfaithful, ugly show dog? Don't worry--I'm sure that Blitzen would be the first to wish me bon voyage.

Because of Nimo's frequent infidelities, poor old Louise has gained a ton of weight and begun to color her hair since that photo
