"Working lines are beauty+working capability=complete package"

I would be careful when making statement like that, there is a lot of bad eggs within WL as well. There is too big stretch within the standards and everything more often starts falling in the middle, as much as I hate to agree with some SL people there are few quite good points they making. I don't agree 100% with them but the truth is always somewhere in the middle, and I am not knowledgeable enough to start redefining the standard. The only thing I can do is state my opinion. That’s all.

Looks like the board is on fire. Here we go fighting over two lines in one breed. Fact No1 : the question was addressed to people that are into showlines, I really don't Understand why working line people start this thing accusing showlines. Is it because they cannot stand the fact that their dogs look ugly and immidiately they go on the offensive? Are you guys so complexic after all? I suggest you mind your own buisiness, and let people that breath and live showlines and have spent a lot of time reading and studying the breed , have their say on this board. I bet almost all of these ''working'' folks have never set eyes on Vegas in real life or any of the VA dogs for that matter. If you think your dogs are so hot and since you think you know it all why don't you try and make a top working dog look and move like the VAs? If it were so simple then there would be only one line . Wether you like it or not it is ONLY ONE breed and ONE standard so stay away from threads referring to showlines.

I am not against showlines. If i was, i wouldnt own one. Im am only against the showlines that have deviated from the breed standard. No where in the breed standard does it say that over angulated rears and roach backs are acceptable. I own a showlie and i couldnt be less proud of her. Being a Dux De Cuatro Flores granddaughter she has excellent drives and working capabilities. Surely there are some pretty SL's that can work their asses of to. I was never a Vegas fan and never will be a fan of ugly over angulated rears! There are still a great deal of showlines in eastern europe who do not have over angulated rear and roached backs. Bash me all you want for stating my opinion, i just dont give a damn!

missbeeb

have you ever raised a litter of 12 puppies strong? By the 8th week you get a whole lotta poop, especially when you have three or four of these litters in parallel. Poop comes with the terittory, I guess all I'm sying is we are used to poop. But I much prefer poop from dogs rather than poop that comes out of people's mouths!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ATARTHS one could never doubt the beauty of that gorgeous red and black coat, the dark mask and lovely pigment. I love showlines but i hate over angulated and roached dogs. Vegas happens to fall in the over angulated category so i dont like him. Its nothing personal.
