Working Dogs

GSDBreeder, you're having a laugh, right?

Pedigree don't put their total ingredients anywhere on their website, premium dog food manufacturers do. What does that tell you?

Maybe you could post up the total ingredients of the Pedigree food you use as I believe its only ever printed on the bags. I some how suspect that you are actually largely paying for the huge TV and show advertising budget.

Pedigree is commercialism at its best.

Pedigree Dog Food contains the highest quality foods and is the best you can possible feed your dogs.

Yes true, Pedigree is commercialism at it's best - a highly commercialised product that still maintains unbeatable standards.

Those ingredients are? Come on, lets see them. You've stepped up to the table and now I'm interested in actual ingredients that would be beneficial to GSD's.

I've just read on another thread you are a Pedigree retailer, say no more, case closed.

pedigree is probably one of the worst foods i can think of

if someone gave my dogs a bowl of it i would slap them.

if you are a breeder you should know that this food is BAD

surely this is a wind up

Pedigree masterfoods are owned by Mars Incorporated a large Privately owned company from the USA who's main aim is to make profit. I doubt most of the board of directors will even own a dog let alone know what's best for one.

Arden Grange on the other hand is a Family run business who operate from the UK. Who's owners Wendy & Graham Stephens have been breeding, showing and living with GSDs for many years.

We have weaned and raised our puppies on Arden Grange for many years with no problems.

Pedigree IMO is a poor quality dog food. I would NEVER recommend this product.

Ditto

As for the query about 42% protein, when you can find anyone that can determine the EXACT protein requirement of a dog, when the label differentiates between what is bio available and what is not and when the label informs you what %age of the protein is incomplete and complete then you can worry about the %age per se.

For those of us who feed raw, we probably feed our dogs a far higher degree of protein which, if you look at what a perfomance dog needs, is what it needs along with fat.

You all quite obviously know absolutely nothing about dog foods so I will not waste my time talking to you.

GSDBreeder,

Maybe you should try selling Kibbles N Bits too!

No wait......GAINES BURGERS! LOL

Seriously though, stop with the Pedigree thing already! How many threads are you trying to sell that junk food for dogs in anyway?
