You espouse Heresy. TRhrow OUT your Old Testament. Christ has COME!
CHRISTIANS Are NOW GOD'S CHOSEN PEOPLE.
The Covenant was Fulfilled and the Jews Rejected Christ..
'CRUCIFY HIM, MAY HIS BLOOD BE UPON US AND OUR CHILDREN!' God owes them Nothing.

Now let us see what the apostle  PAUL of the new testament had to say.

Paul clearly explains in Galationsc3:6-9 was an early announcement of the gospel message.  The seed of Abraham was to be the MESSIAH,THE CHRIST,and through him the nations the believing gentiles would be blessed with forgiveness for their sins
Thus the children of Abraham,ISRAEL,were to  1- have Jehovah as their God and the God of their children; 2--they were to inherit the land of Palistine forever;and 3---they were to be a nation out of which the Messiah WAS TO COME.  These are the basic promises to Israel,to the Jews, and out of these have flown rhe various other countless promisses which were later given to them through the subsequent centuries.

The covenant,or agreement, which God gave to Abraham concerning His seed after him.  The line of this covenant, however was restricted by God according to His sovereign pleasure ROMANS 9:6-16.  The covenantal line of promises thus went through Isaac, not Ishmael, and then through Jacob, and not Essau {the arab nations}.
Thus the primary promises made unto Abraham were inherited by the children of Israel whose Fathers are Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob-rather than by the Moabites and Ammonites {relatives to Abraham by Lot} or by the Arabs {sons of Ishmael or by the Edomites {sons of Essau}  The Ishmalites, true received promises of their own-but it was Israel who became the chosen people.

Hi Susan

Wait just a minute hear, Obama says he is a christian, but is  knowingly against what his God says.
We are not talking here about state and religion,we  are asking if Obama is a Christian as he says he is.

Hi again Susan

Joel 3:1-2

Now if Obama is really a Christian, certainly he would have these scriptures in the back of his mind, esspecially being the president of the U.S.A.

Verse 1
For behold,in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem.
2  I will  also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Je-hosh-a-phat,and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage ISRAEL,whom they have scatered among the nations, and parted my land.

Why does Obama want to part the ,when God says he will punish the nations of the world for this .

Is Obama really a Christian. Thats what this post is all about.

his religious beliefs are a private issue and as such none of my business.   as president it is not in the job description to be of any particular religion; point of fact as pres. his job is not to have a religious bias so as pres his religious views are irrelevant because of the separation of church & state.

because he was gracious enough to share his religious affiliation with the public you might be inclined to debate & question his christian faith but since he is not a religious leader and he holds no position of authority within the christian church it becomes pretty much of an academic exercise.  so questioning whether or not he is a legitimate christian again is irrelevant because he is not preaching to anyone and as a citizen of the usa is free to hold any beliefs he wants as well as label himself whatever he wishes.  such is the nature of a democracy - because of this freedom and because christianity is an open religion if he says he's christian then that's what he is.

True JC but his loyalties and lies do concern us apart from the seperation of church and state. A christian does not confess their muslim faith because they have no muslim faith. As president of this country he has no privacy concerning his religous beliefs since his morality governs his decision making ability ! Since he governs by the consent of the majority his acedemic;religous;and ethnic  standards are of the utmost concern to the public. I suggest you study that seperation clause a bit closer to find it's true meaning.

Sitasmom,

The sad thing about the organized religion of Christianity today is that there is no firm footing for anything at all.  There is acceptance for everything, from murder of babies to deviant behavior, and it's all justified under "God loves everyone.  He is a Merciful God."

With that thinking, religions of today seem to embrace anything and everything, because their leaders are afraid to draw a line and say NO.  There are some who stand for their values, but too many don't.

Is Obama a Christian?  I think not.  I recall a clip where when asked, he said he was Muslim, then quickly corrected and said he was Christian.  I would say he is nothing but a fraud, regardless of what religion he claims to be.  The murder of children is not a Christian behavior.  Nor is much else that he does.

I can claim to be brilliant.............but the proof is in the puddin

He doesn't act like a Christian therefor he isn't not a christian - Oh My God it is really that simple!
