Yes, Maggiemae..: I start my pups on cottage cheese and yogurt at 8 weeks old...the gut is ost important...When I eat my icecream, I give them yogurt...non flavored...plain regulare not the no fat kind///Dogs need a certain amount of good fat in their bodies and we do to..I am against anything low fat, decafe or anything that has been rearranged...If not natural dont want it in my body..this is why so many dogs and people are sick...they so many chemicals in the body that the Marketing world uses such great marketing ploy to sucker us in...
Start with tiny amounts and increase the yogurt as they get older...Sams sells Cottage cheese in 5 lb jugs and yogurt in larger containers...

I alternate cottage cheese every other day , once , a 1/4 cup or so...Cottage Cheese is source of Calcium.....
Yogurt is given three or 4 times a week ,,as a treat...in pups I mix it right in their dog chow... later I give it in a bowl as a treat.
I eat lots of cottage cheese,,,love it with pineapple on it on a wedge of lettuce with a dot of Miracle Whip.....yumm
