Looks like enough hair for a dog on it's own beside him. I'll bet he feels better!

He is absolutely beautiful! I am sending out good vibes in hopes of him finding his forever home! I guess it was to their credit that they gave him up. I hope that someone in this community knows how to find him a home. Good luck Teddy bear Chuy!

Chewy is adorable and such a beautiful boy! As for the owner, I just don't get it and it makes me so furious when I hear these things. I wish there were severe consequences for people like Chewy's owner. Thankfully Chewy is now in your care and I know you will find a wonderful home for him. With out a doubt you are truly an earth angel and I thank you so much for all you do to help these dogs.

The pups here had to have a pet sitter for the weekend...boy were they happy to see me when I got back. My retired police K-9 got to go with me and he was the perfect gentleman as always...
Chewy is in the house right now laying by my feet as I type and catch up on emails...He is the best house dog. I have to go out and do some more brushing...may have to use the clippers on his hind legs...way too sore and matted. Then I will give him a bath...his tail is full of crusties at the skin...more photos after the bath...
While I was gone, I got 3 emails from people having to get rid of their purebred GSD's...wanting to turn them into rescue. One an 8 month old KING GSD from New Jersey or somesuch, that the breeder won't take back, give her money back or replace because the gal neutered him...It was in the contract to do so, so she did...he won't learn, very slow...minded...
Another sable reject service dog, now aggressive, in Seattle area.
Another getting aggressive with kids, attacking them and they just had a new baby so they are afraid the dog will attack their own child now...
F****, why can't people think before they get a dog????? Or train them???
Anyhow, the rescue business is booming...go figure...today, got in a floppy eared huge GSD male, 2 yrs old that nipped a neighbor when it got out of the fence...the owners drove it here all the way from Seattle to me here in Montana just to save the dog from being put down there...about 10 hours, one way. The dog is a real sweetie, even though the ears are half mast...very well behaved good with kids, just an accident....
So the saga continues....anyone looking for a nice rescue dog??? LOL
