I like Eagle Pack Holistic Lg breed Puppy, but if I could afford it I'd order Common Sense Raw food, shipped frozen.
Dog food can NOT be shipped with your puppy from Europe (and vice versa). Big no-no at customs.

We started our puppy on the Eagle Pack for pups as it is low protein/low fat more so than some adult food and at 5 months we switched her over to Canadaie (sp) four meats for all stages.  Same low protein/low fat but better, healthier as far as carbs and fillers.  Either one gave her plenty of energy and a shiny coat and eyes.  We keep her lean on it and are very happy with her and her stools.

I don't feed corn at all either;  too many pups I've seen overweight, pano, stool eating, and hyperactive on corn based foods, just easier to avoid it.   My last pup was raised on raw, no special suppliments above what the adult dogs were eating.  She did great,  nice lean even growth,  excellent teeth coat and ears/eyes, no pano, etc.  Just OFA'd Good.   I've been real happy with raising a pup on raw.   Protein on that is about 18% as fed.  But high quality, non processed protein.

Yes, I believe pups do need higher protein content, but how high is high.

I believe it is never necessary to feed a GSD pup with higher than 27% protein, on 10% moisture basis, if (and should) nearly all the protein is from animal source.

I don't doubt if just 24% is quite good enough.

It must be processed correctly, so the expertise or reputation of the manufacturer is of great importance.

To be perfectly honest, I am not sure anybody knows for sure what level of protein is best for GSD pups. I fed Eukanuba premium performance (original formula) for 20 years, Now we think its crap. (Granted, the new GSD formula IS crap)
I raised a lot of pups (say 20 litters?) on Royal Canin AGR (36% protein), again, no serious problems, very low incidence of structural issues of any kind, (WAY below average) great coats, stools, overall health, longevity...
Makes me wonder. I have long suspected the pet food industry embraced the low-protein-for-large-breed-pups thing in order to sell us dog foods with lesser percentages of expensive proteins for more money.
Who the hell knows?

BTW- The worst results I have had with dog foods in the last few years was with Canidae ALS, (tried all formulas over a course of 1.5 yrs) the only formula I had any luck with was the Platinum/Overweight dog formula (more$) with T, and I do supplement his diet.
I swear, on the regular Canidae ALS formulas the dogs crapped out more mushy, smelly stool than they ate food, coats dry, lots of shedding, and they were generally "unthrifty." Ditto for Wellness. So much for those all-natural, no-grain, dog foods.

You guys don't want to know what I am feeding right now, but I'll tell you it ain't even close to the price I was paying for the hoity-toity, all-natural designer stuff and the dogs are doing great on it, beet pulp and all.

Those no-grain foods are higher in protein and due to a lack of filler, need to be fed in smaller amounts- otherwise yes, you will definitely have issue of voluminous (and stinky) poop.

Yep, Canidae has gone down the toilet. I fed ALS too and when they changed the formula everything deteriorated. Coatm stool, weight, appetite.  My dogs do love Fromm whitefish which I'm feeding now, but for what I'm paying for it, for a few dollars LESS I can go to TOTW and be feeding better quality. Think I'm going with the salmon formula.
