Seems he has some hard wood on his own, too...

Just went through it too. One of my males just went for 10 days without eating and my wife woke me up at three in the morning to tell me he was walking around our house fully erect dripping all over the place thank god we have all hard wood...LOL

VERY SAD. SPERM RETENTION CAN CAUSE MANY HEALTH ISSUES. ANOREXIA IS JUST ONE. THIS IS A VERY CRUEL PRACTICE NOT EVEN CONDONED AT GUANTANAMO BAY. I HAVE A SPERM RETENTION MIGRAINE AS I TYPE.

Anti-Mating Spray applied to outside surface of dog panties (used with kotex pad), rear legs, tail.  Only remove the panty when turning out the female.

This method won't work too well if the females are allowed to drip all over the place and drench the girls kennels with scent de amour.

The object is to keep the smell in the turn out area and not where the females actually are.  Then, Romeo can run rip snorting around the turnout area desperately searching for the source of Eau de Amour and take the edge off.  He might just work up an apetite.

Good luck,

Michele

I swear the yotes and wolves don't eat for like 2 weeks when Sara or Granduer are in heat .... it's funny too, because Granduer can bring on her heat when ever she feels froggy.

I have a fricken Malinois that thinks she's a wolf. She can call all the packs to her in minutes.

We love her. Thanks again. !!!!!!!

wait it out.

Ike used not eat for that long, but I guess I've managed it a bit different lately and I've got it cut down to a just a day or so completely off food.  But boy are they hungry when they do start eating again!   Lately they've been on mostly kibble, but when she's in heat like that he gets straight a straight raw beef mixture, and that seems to keep him happy.

He used to drop a bunch of weight too, but that's a little better now.   I now know where the term mercy f*&k comes from!

If you're worried it probably wouldn't hurt to give him some nutri-cal, too.
