. If you go with the surgery and it doesn't go well for you, have the doc put your nose in a pickle jar, at least it will make a good conversation piece. LOL

Gator113,
I was going to finish that sentence with marinade
The only operation I had was to fix a broken ankle, and it wasn't as bad as I thought,
make sure they give you plenty of happy pills!
You're already on the road to recovery, if you can post on here, you must have a great sense of humor

I can see why you might be quick to think that, as I have read your FOOD FOR THOUGHT piece. ;>)

Gator113-DUDE, that sucks! Glad your back up & ready to ride! ----I have to have a total knee done on March 12....not looking forward to it, had my shoulder rebuilt a year ago last October....that hurt like a bitch! OMG, I was shivering with pain the first time I had PT---that was thanks to my workingline male! MRSA is my biggest fear with this surgery, as a nurse, I know I have been exposed too many times to count, & I've seen folks die from MRSA infections in the bone. Scares the sh*t outta me! Nice to hear from a survivor! My hubby had his knee replaced, & he's zipping all over the place now...so my eye's on the prize!
George--don't chicken out now, you'll do well, I'm sure! Keep us posted! Good Luck! (What ARE they doing to you?)

Jackie harris,
Best wishes on your knee replacement. I have had surgery on both knees for turn cartilage ( football in high school LOL), but so far I get to keep them. I have a friend that's an absolute crazy jock, and he's had both of them replaced and he still plays basket ball every morning at 6 a.m. .... he's nut's, but he's still going strong.

good luck on your surgery.

If all my surgeries were plastic surgery, my husband said I would look like a knockout with perky boobs and no sags LOL

Lots of surgeries from firefighting with a 40+ year old body and a mind that keeps insisting my body is 25
