She based it off of this dog, and made it her own.

Well she did a fabulous job in duplicating the picture with her drawing.  Very impressive indeed!  I can't even draw a stick person. LOL

Wow, that is quite impressive!  You need to encourage that talent, she may have a future as a professional artist!

The picture, while very well done for a child (or anyone!) looked clearly showline to me. Look at the length of the back and the legs...EXCELLENT drawing. Just doesn't look DDR to me!

The back is not Ebba's...nor any working lines I know of.

The picture, which is Steve Lino's V Ebba vom Grafental (which would be nice to acknowledge when you post a pic of a dog you don't own!) is DDR! And a GIRL, LOL!

Great Talent!!!!  You should enter it in a news paper and see how she does.

Great artwork! Encourage that girl, Ruger's Guru!  I can't draw but wish I could. Your daughter has a good eye. Just one tiny little thing, the right hind leg is just a tad off. I'm no artist so can't tell you exactly what to do to improve, but the whole drawing is wonderful. Does she take drawing classes?

You can tell that she really loves the dogs and has carefully studied them by the expression on the dogs face.  The shorter legs would make sense for a female dog.

I do see the flaw, buy hey its great anyway, and no classes, its all freehand. I have the talent, and I think it is genetic, so she has it too. Its been a while since I have drawn anything. Would you all humor me and send me a picture of your dog, so I can try a hand at it? You can have it as a Christmas present in return.

Thanks guys!
