4pack,I appreciate your most welcome advice. The man Clayton was very nice to my sister. But after doing the Google search, their are lots of problem's with his business dealing's and many unhappy people. That is too many red flag's for me.
I would never want to tarnish anyone's reputation, but in today's day and age "who would want to lose a few thousand dollars with red flags flashing everywhere?? I thank everyone on here for their help , and wish you all a great Christmas and Happy New Year!!!!!

I was absolutely disgusted when I saw this post. Clayton produces some of the most beautiful sound minded and affordable GSD's in the world. I purchased a dog from him in August and I couldn't be happier. He had done countless hours of free training with the dog and even rushed to the emergency vet at 11 pm one night to meet me when my dog accidentally choked on something he ate outside, to make sure he was alright. Clayton is a good man and I am sorry someone seemed to have a bad experience getting an imported dog from him. However, it was not his dog and and it can be very tricky to please someone under these circumstances. I am sure that he made every effort to resolve the clients issues. As far as the dog that he has bred 4 times over 2.5 years, I have met that dog personally several times and it is the epitome of health. If he had any reason to suspect the dog should not be bred, he wouldn't. That dog looks great and is a wonderful mother, not to mention she produces spectacular puppies. Anyone can contact me about him and I will surely ease their minds about buying a dog from him. His dogs are quality, come from great pedigrees, are completely sound minded, and are some of the most beautiful dogs in the country. If you don't believe me call him for advice he is one of the most knowedable people on GSD's in the country. He lives GSD's and would never hurt one or produce any that were not of extremely high quality. If you do not believe me go out and visit him, Limonite and Iron are two of the friendliest most spectacular dogs you will ever see in your lives!!! No one should be afraid of purchasing a dog from Clayton, I gurantee it!!

keycat i have no knowledge of the breeder you mentioned but i will echo shelley on vom haus miller. they are in spring green, wisconsin. we drove 12 hours round trip from here in duluth minnesota to pick up both my late boy and my gorgeous year and a half girl zippy vom haus miller. so if it doesn't work out for your sister with the breeder you mentioned, i would highly recommend vh millers. good luck to your sister though.

I agree with crashkerry...If you think about a 2 1/2 yr old dog already pregnant with her fourth litter, then for myself that would be enough to turn me away. You can't even get hips and elbows certified till 18 months...so this means he bred her long before she was even checked. I think you'd be wise to check out other breeders.
