Exactly right Rugers Guru. Just thought it would be a cute thing to share some photos on a lazy Sunday. The 20 or so photos I took prior to that one show this pup and his littermates happy playing in our field.
Maybe I should have titled the thread "tired pup" not to offend the sensitive. He's a happy and NOT lonely pup, I assure you.

this is off the subject a bit, but it reminded me of a true story: when a man in my church (many yrs ago) signed up for the army, he had to write his name out. well, he only had first initials, no actual name (a bit unimaginative on his parents end!). so, he wrote L. (only) D. (only) . from then on, the army considered him Lonly Donly Emerson!

I want to post a sad picture of my dog but, I saved it on my laptop and somebody is presently using it.
SueAnn what a cute puppy, and a great thread.
Thanks

SueAnn,
That's just one of those "Awww" things. Cute little pupper. he looks more pensive than lonely though, like he's thinking very hard about something but his fuzzy puppy brain just can't quite handle it.
Oh, and Kitkat... WTF? someone pee in your wheaties this morning? It's just a pic, it's obviously the pup isn't suffering or abused. If you think this is a sad pic, don't look at the slides from the Ohio raid; that's suffering. This is just a cute puppy pic. Get over it.

jc carroll if kitkat lived in Ohio she would show that guy the true nature of suffering.she would set up camp to torture him.he would woe the day he was born.

Thanks everyone. I'm glad you enjoyed the thread. Thanks for sharing some photos as well. Rugers Guru's dog is definately disgusted about the end of training/play :-) I love the kitten sleeping on the laptop as well. That baby sure is relaxed.
I agree, Kitkat, there is nothing cute about a truly lonely puppy, person, whomever. My intent was not to offend you but to share what I thought was a cute picture. He looks a little lost and yes, lonely...IMO. Pensive is a great word to describe his look as well...contemplating the world. I think we all, as dog lovers, look at our dog's expressions and body language and try to equate it to a human term that makes sense to us. This was meant as a fun way to share some puppy, dog, kitten...whatever photos wherein expression seems human like.

I guess you got what you ask for ,I know you think all people come from the right place ,put most on the board love dogs and dont want to see them sad .Im sorry you didnt get the responince you thought was nice , you might want to word things to mean cute, and then you still will get a belly full. No one will admit to making a dog unhappy and taking a photo of it., let alone sending it to this forum< and yes dogs can look cute when you catch them at odd monents ,but these people dont play and i hope your pup got happy again,he is really cute with his litter mates.
