It is worth what someone will pay for it. I have a first edition in German, and a very early edition in English, both in good to reasonable shape, for sale. But like with baseball cards, one can only sell such things if someone wants them. I have a lot of other one of a kind type GSD mementos, including photos, etchings, bronzes, etc., and the same is true for them. Who cares what I say I want if indeed no one will pay that? I know what I paid for these books, as an example, and they were not just a few bucks.......They are collectors items and therein lies most of the value.

The truth is my mother in law didn't pay $2 for this rare find. 3 men lost their lives obtaining this book. One of the brave men was my mother in law's Lover!! She is beside herself.
