Watcher:
I was referrring to the good old USA> I live here and so does K9sar06, if I am not mistaken.
I don't quote UK law. wouldn't know it. Glad you made yourself clear. Does not apply to us here, if we are in the United States. Now our base is read and posted by people from many countries, but if posting on this site, and you live here , our laws abide. Oli can tell anyone in another country , about using posts of others photos on this base. But I do not think K9sar06 meant out of this country.
Everyone that uses someone elses photos, SHOULD ask permission, but read the law on the copyright of the USA , as to why you can use them and the determination they will rule for or against you.
Steve posted it for all to read. He has had this to contend with ,because he is the author, owner of one of the largest websites on the internet.

Yes I am in the USA. I have a website and it clearly states that EVERYTHING within my website is copyrighted. I have filed the copyright forms.
However, these were pictures of MY dogs, on MY property with MY camera and edited by ME sent to "friends". Now those pictures are showing up in places that I didn't put them. No credit or mention of my kennel or me was given. I am not looking to advertise myself or my dogs but I do feel if people are going to use MY stuff then some credit or at least mention must be attached.
My pictures were digitally watermarked with my information...some of my pictures have actual Copyright text on the pictures. The ones being used are without the text on the pictures but were marked digitally.
Thank you to those who responded!
