Pia,
You are welcome anytime. That would be the least I could do for you.
Puputz,
I what ways do you mean slow maturing? He is very playful right now, he is just 6 months old. He is very protective of the house and "HIS" yard. But I am pretty certain for now he is all bark. But he is extremely intelligent. He is house broken, and learns NO very quickly. He is a character too. My wife gave him some water lastnight in a small tuperware bowl in the kitchen because his other water bowl was in the dish washer and he decided he wanted to be in the living room watching TV with us so he picked up his new water bowl, carried it in the living room, spilling the entire way there and then licked the drops fromt he side because he had already spilled. He has really taken to our family. He is tolerable of others but very alert. He shows great instincts. He bites hard and retrieves everything that he can. I will share one more little story about him. This is hard to believe but I swear it is true.
I had only had him for about 3 weeks and we were at my inlaws house and while I was getting Iron from the car my cell phone and clip came off and fell on the ground. I didnt realize it right away but when I was about 15 feet away I called Iron because he was not with me and he was back smelling my phone. I looked at my wife and said watch this. Just for fun I said " Iron, Bring!" he looked at me, picked up the phone and brought it to me. It was friggen unbelievable.
Shawn
ps
I will post some photos of him swimming at tomorrows training.

I also have a Asko pup from PIA. His name is Immo and he is one of the smartest shepherds I have seen or have had the privilage of owning. He has an automatic recall, automatic retrieve, automatic heal.. it just amazes me how smart he is. I am in the process of trying to find local club to train with. I need to get some better pics of him but here are some pic's I took during our winter months here in New England.
Immo (6 months) on the left trying to get the toy from Wyatt. Wyatt is another dog I got from PIA. He is a Jago son.

You are a very lucky person to have one of Asko's final litters if not the last litter. I LOVE everything about Asko, and wish he was still with us so I can have one if his pups today. I had a chance to get one of his pups 3 years ago but at the time I was new to the sport and would not of done him any justice. Now that I have some experience working dogs and a couple club level trials under my belt I think it may be time to go over to the dark side and get a WL GSD. I would have loved to be able to have a Asko pup to take me to the next level now. Anyway, I wish you lots of luck with your pups and look forward to seeing them in the future on a SchH field.
Regards,
F
