Sirius (Mr. E. M. Southwell's) 'Scamp x Lotes' by Damon1978
A couple of other references (one example below) refer to Sirius's dam as Lotes, not Lotus.  I will continue to research this.

From the book "British Dogs: Their Varieties, History, Characteristics, Breeding, Management, And Exhibition", by Hugh Dalziel:
MR. E. M. SOUTHWELL'S FOX TERRIER "SANS PEUR." Sire Scamp, by Turk (K.C.S.B. 610) out of Old Dame - Dam Lotes, by Old Jock (K.C.S.B. 558) out of Venom.
Jessie (Mr. E. Chadwick's) 'General x Venom' by Damon1978
From The Kennel Club Calendar and Stud Book, Vol. IV, 1877 for the year 1876:
5976. Jessie.—Mr. E. Chadwick's, 16, Newstead-road, Lee, Kent; breeder, owner; whelped, 1876.
Pedigree: By General (No. 4845, Vol. II.) out of Venom.
Chief Performance: Brighton, 2nd prize (puppy class).
Gay Lass (Mr. T. Carver's) 'Merman x Fussy' by Damon1978
From The Kennel Club Calendar and Stud Book, Vol. IV, 1877 for the year 1876:
5975. Gay Lass—Mr. T. Carver's, 37, Saville-street, Hull (late Mr. Long's, Pryme-street, Hull); breeder, Mr. Long; whelped 1875; colour, black and tan head, two patches on body.
Pedigree: By Rollit's Merman out of Long's Fussy, by Hornet II. out of Frisk. Hornet II. by Hornet (No. 548, Vol. I.). Merman by Diver (No. 532, Vol. I.) out of Victress.

I believe there is an error in this entry.  Hornet is No. 545, not 548. Jack is No. 548.  I will assume that the number is incorrect.
From The Kennel Club Calendar and Stud Book, Vol. IV, 1877 for the year 1876:
Gaudy (No. 4162, Vol. II.).—Mr. T. N. Hussey's, High-street, Maidenhead (late Mr. H. Gibson's).

From The Kennel Club Calendar and Stud Book, Vol. III, 1876 for the year 1875:

Pedigree: By Tyke (No. 615, Vol. I.) out of Patch (No. 635, Vol. I.).
Chief Performance: Darlington, 1st prize.

I believe there is an error in this entry.  Procter’s Patch is No. 685.  Daisy is No. 635.  Tyke has other offspring by Patch, No. 685.  I will assume that just the number is wrong for Patch, in this entry.
