    Description

My name is Linn Kristin Høsøien Enget. I was born in 1992 and I have grown up with dogs. I am the daughter of the owners of Kennel Kjærligheten.
I have handled dogs in shows since we got our first Jack Russell Terrier in 2000. Before we got Jack Russell Terrier, we had a Cocker Spaniel named Shanty. My passion is the Handling of the dog in the shows. I actually started with the Junior Handling in 2005, but may well say that I was not quite in time before 2007. In 2008 it went so well and I was on the Norwegian national team for Junior Handling and was NKKU champion 2008 with most points of all handlers throughout the year here in Norway.

2002 I got my first "own" dog. Bushwack's Canberra Keico, "Keico". He did great on the shows, but unfortunately when he was only 3 years old he was hit by a motorcycle. Missing him so much.
2004, I decided that I should now have a new own dog. I ended up on this beautiful Silky Terrier. December this year, Dali's She's The One "Ninche" came home to us from Kennel Dali in Byneset. This is my little goldchild. She was in 2007, both the Norwegian and Danish show champion.
2007 I decided that I might have my second Silky Terrier. Then came Moonscape's Jailhouse Rock "Danny" in the house after a long journey from Finland. Thanks to Irma, Tiina and Sari for this wonderful boy. He became in 2008 the year's most winning silky Terrier with 4x CACIB and 5x CAC. He was also Norwegian Jubilee winner and qualified for Crufts.
But now I had decided that this breed should I work with here in Norway so Kennel SHOWSILK was approved in 2007.
In autumn 2008, a new little princess of Norway, came all the way from England. Bombixmoren Sinful Satin "Diva". Thank you for Irma, Virginia, Tanya.

I plan to continue with the breed ahead, with exhibition and breeding.

But I must tell you a little about my Jacks in my kennel now. We spent the summer of 2006 in Sweden at kennel Bushwack. I had not so much to take me to so I decided to train all the dogs they had at home. We took long walks and trained easy obdience. They were all so lovely, each with its own personality. But the one that stole my heart was the young female Itzy. We got a good relationship. The summer came to an end and we would soon go home. When Henrik came to me said that, thanks for all help would I get Itzy. I was so happy. So of course, did Bushwack's Jack Itzy come home to Norway. Itzy has given us two nice litters, and we have kept a daughter after her.

Finally, I would add that these 2 Jacket is my last. I have decided that I no longer shall breed Jack, but you will see more of me with my parents and theire kennel when I am exhibition handler.
