Wow--didn't mean to throw any gasoline on a fire !
Dog1 makes good points -- and also Alphapup about the bitches. The thing is -- and this is the hardest part -- to get American's to breed their lines to a dog like Yasko - who I don't know personally, but we all hear
good things about -- Sieger two times - is an accomplishment = even with political issues overlayed.
It's most difficult to "improve" some American lines -
like give the males better heads !! -- simply by crossing them to "better" German lines - beacuse they
don't always mix well. And the show folks are afraid
to lose angulation -- (there's a good laugh for you).
And is Mr. Bill going to make it impossible for
the less than fabulously wealthy to use him -- I can only imagine what the Stud Fee must be. Sieger is such an accomplishment -- Hell, V15 is an accomplishment - that these dogs can have a good opportunity to improve
on dogs being bred in this country -- if they are accessible and people learn to see the value in them.
