I myself will not keep him, I will find him a home, where he will be loved.  And I will back him up for the rest of his life (or mine), if needed.

A German Shepherd should not have to be left for death, thru no fault of his own

kitkat, I sent you a PM. URGENT.

by JonRob on 30 April 2014 - 02:04

This "shelter" will not let their dogs be adopted out of state by individuals, only by 501c rescue groups, So unless someone in the area adopts him or a rescue group takes him, he's toast.

I will pay for his adoption fee or transport to a rescue group. He dies tomorrow (Weds) unless they still have space.

THAT is a God Damn Shame....Shameful,  without a doubt.

If anyone in that area can pull him, I WILL TAKE HIM..JonRob will pay the transport here...

Anyone willing to help, Please!!!!

Marjorie...where are you????

by JonRob on 30 April 2014 - 02:04

Whoever pulls him has to ADOPT him unless they're a rescue group.

THERE HAS TO BE SOMEONE IN THAT AREA READING THIS! STOP ASSUMING SOMEONE ELSE WILL DO IT!

by JonRob on 30 April 2014 - 02:04

Thanks Jenni. Figuring someone else is taking care of things is why so many of these dogs die. It doesn't have to happen.

To folks in the area (Gaston County, North Carolina), please adopt the dog and send me a PM.
