Thank you Blitzen, Yes I do now own the father of this pup the OP was considering. I own Nocturne's Trever and I am very happy with him. I just do not like to see someone's reputation tarnished so casually without proof to back up the accusations, people are just so quick to jump in and try to ruin someone.

I didn't know that one couldn't buy fake titles, etc in Germany. Really? Those midnight trials I've heard about are not really happening then? Really? That's good to know.

 

 

And also I believe that anyplace in the world has issues with corruption, including Germany. It is a crapshoot anytime you buy a dog, from anyone, from anywhere.

Shatterhand all yr questions are a simple attack on someone you don't knows credibility. Easy to do when one party is not present but identifianlble while you are present (and spouting) and under an alias.

It is also self serving.

I do generally give others the benefit of doubt, I would not say that simply because a breeder has produced a pup I wouldn`t buy he therefore is a bad breeder. Not at all, I am very picky when it comes to dogs and wouldn`t have bought 98% of puppies produced from breeders who have sold me pups.
I do not breed nor do I earn any income with GSDs except for small prizes on breed shows ( usually below 20U$)
In addition to that I would like to say that my statements make it clear that my opinion is based upon my experience.

Blitzen has been so kind as to help me evaluate and increase my knowledge on this specific bloodline by giving me info on the very different experience he mentioned. (thanks for that!)

Now I am the guilty one,by all of you because i don't support breeders who mislead buyers buy putting fake hips elbows ratings on PDB .I am the guilty one because all my dogs have legitimate hips ,elbows,health cert. done and rated by SV,and most of my dogs are title.Secondly they all were shown and judge by SV judges.Beside who is Nocturne's Trever, to me just a pet,and from the picture i don't see any quality in this dog,yes he is Quenn son,so is thousand others.To Blitzen he is a good dog because comes from her friend's kennel..

You never have one thing nice to say about any dogs other than your own, Jerzy. Almost every post you send here is negative about someone else's breeding program, critical of their dogs, or the way they care for their dogs (Peik and Chacco for example). You can sure dish it out a lot better than you can take it.

Blitzen,this is the last time I am responding .Yes i may be negative on many breedings programs i see on PDB because most of those breeders are for making money here not to improve the breed.They breed always to own dogs,never go outside to better studs.They are kennel blinded and think they have the best dogs,because the dog they have is son of VA dog.Most those dogs don't even resemble the father in any way.The female is the one who gives the most to the offspring.father can only complement the female and improve or screw few things,if you don't have quality female even you'll breed to #1 dog in the world ,forget you will get superstars from her. I breed only 1-2 litters a year,and I don't have problems with health,temperament of my puppies.All are healthy,have sound temperament and 80% go to pet homes,because not many people are interested in showing nor training show line dogs.Some of the puppies are really top show quality,and they would do very well at the shows,but they end up in pet homes or breeders homes where they will only be bred and nothing else.But as long the puppies and the owners are happy that's all matters to me.
Going back to Chacco and Peik,I already wrote about them.and never said anything wrong.Both dogs while were in Germany were Elite of the German Shepherd World.Blitzen tell me why Chacco was V3 at your show last year ?.I saw him in Dallas last year at the NASS he was in the hotel,and they did not showed him,because he was totally out of shape,not ready to be shown.Same goes to Peik.Few weeks later they show Chacco at your show and the dog looks like total disaster.
I was not there but I have (believe it or not) friends in Tampa area and they told me what they think about Chacco .Everyone was extremely disappointed the way he looks I don't blame Chacco nor Peik,I said those people who own those dogs are the one who should be blame for.I bred to Chacco one of my females when he was still in Germany and I got super litter out of him.All puppies have hips elbows a1 only one elbows a2.Three out of 4 were title,Korung,
I placed the one I own at NASS and other shows in very high places and beat some top dogs in USA including VA dog.One of the puppy male I sold was title and showed in Europe.he was also bred while he was there and he produced in those puppies most importantly super drive,and willingness to work just like Chacco.I also imported some really nice dogs for breeding for my costumers,and some puppies which not many were the highest quality mostly pets. like I said I am a small hobby breeder,and breeding is my passion not a way to make a living,I spent more money on my dogs than I make by selling puppies.Yes i should done more for my dogs,but coming to USA in early 80's on the boat(just kidding) priority to me was to provide food on the table for my family,send the kids to college so I did not have all the time I needed to spend with my dogs but I gave them all I had,and now getting older I may have little more time for them.I never wrote more in my entire life till now and I hope I'll never will,is very exhausting,now I have to get serious drink.
