I like that, Kim. Very good, quick assessment. (The only flaw I could find with it is if the human doing the checking happens to be very overweight themselves, and has knuckles covered in fat !) Better than the standard Veterinary chant about "if you can feel the ribs but not see them", which I find gets wildly misinterpreted, and has probably, due to its wide use in recent years, actually caused a lot of pet dogs to be allowed to put on too much weight.
