If I was to go with ProHeart, it would be the tablets instead of the shots, may just be me that feels that the tablets are a better way to go since it only lasts a month. That way if a bad reaction happens at least you can stop using it. The shot stays in the system for a long time. http://www.vetshopmax.com/proheart-tablets-C175.aspx

Not a fan of it period..MY vet , in home town said NO , do not use it..He had too many with bad reactions..Vet that did my ofa said same thing..THEY were suppose to take it off the market.

About 8 yrs ago, I was told Dodge was removing it..

Vets , some of them, a big number of them will administer and sell anything the Pharma man , brings to their door step..IT is called KICK BACK TIME>>>Experience tells us, who have been doing the dog world for over 20 yrs , a lot of the truths, that are not gonna be printed on any internet page or in a phamphlet....We learn by mistakes others have made in trusting a chemical to invade our blood steam or the dogs blood stream and the warnings on the label are horrible and we still say....It is ok if the vet says so...NOT

Money talks and BULL Corn walks....too..Three of my vets agree with that belief and they use holistic means when at all possible..Some people demand the drugs....
