The China bashers have prolly not noticed that since the sheer impetuousness of a rising middle class in China, UK & US corps are already moving their factories to softer more easily corruptible more willing to sacrifice their own society, culture and environment countries like vietnam and Africa and close region.

But yeah sure trump is going to reverse all that.

'Guys manufacturing ain't coming back to the west until their are no more third world countries left to exploit and all the exploited workers in those countries stand up and demand the same rights and working conditions as the guys that lost their jobs to them.'-vk

And that is how equality plays out... The us becomes a third world country, equal to the third world countries wanting to be like the us....they will get their wish through lowering of the standard of living in the us, making the us equal to their third world.

That will happen while the fascist industries and governments become filthy rich on the broken backs of the working class in the us and worldwide. So tpp needs to be shuved up the asses of all the 'leaders'... Nafta, gatt, most favoered nation status need to go up the asses of all manufacturers plus all the fuking 'leaders' need to be dumped from a plane flying over the middleof the pacific.

And meanwhile,  EU and UK becomes the new middle east.

China is teaming up with the us manufacturers going to 'softer' third world countries because of the demands on china by the us for workers' rights. So yeah, those 'exploited' workers are getting the same rights and working conditions 'as the guys that lost their jobs to them'...it's called unemployment due to loss of manufacturing... China's workers are getting the same treatment as the us workers. Let's see how those unemployed masses like being 'equal' to the unemployed us 'workers'.

The thing is these smart people believe Trump. The problem is he himself makes stuff in third world countries. And he isn't about to cut into his $$$. So, lets sum this all up. They are voting for Trump because: he will bring jobs home, he is a business man, he is pro religion, he is smart. But in actuality: he will not bring jobs back (because it is not good business), a business man who has used bankruptcy like it is oxygen, he supports abortion (throw religion out), he says he is really smart (laughable at best). He has put forth 0 legit proposals but yet he is the new madman for the conservatives. So, what is driving people to support him? My best guess from reading 100s of articles and 1000s of comments is they love him because he is a racist bigot. Shame on these people who mostly call themselves religious. Trump will ruin this country. He will in fact cut social security, medicare and any place else he can squeeze a penny out of. He will not reverse Obama care and if he does he will replace it with Trump care. Keep America great vote no on the bigot.

Trumpetista is so narrow minded and so self centered that he is oblivious to the fact that the media has a right and obligation to 'talk about' him....because he is leading the race for prez. He is too stupid to be prez of the us. He should go back to his TV show and leave the governing of this country to the adults.

It really isn't my preferred style to parse another person's post line by line, but GSD, you are a broken record at times, so what else is left for a person to do in an attempt to educate your gross exaggerations and simplified misconceptions?

The thing is these smart people believe Trump.

Uh, no, they aren't the cream of the intellectual crop and most have never taken a college course in their life. That has been pointed out, time and again with links and charts ad nauseum.

The problem is he himself makes stuff in third world countries. And he isn't about to cut into his $$$.

Actually, the problem, if there is one, is all yours. He has never denied he has been a willing participant in the common money making business practices that swell bank accounts by availing himself to Chinese manufacturing with some products. He uses this past of his to illustrate how this makes him the best person to address and fix the problem because his experience with using those advantages, gives perspective that others lack.

So, lets sum this all up. They are voting for Trump because: he will bring jobs home, he is a business man, he is pro religion, he is smart.

They are voting for him because he represents for them a voice against the establishment that has rendered their continually dimininishing quality of life and opportunities, as invisible and seriously unaddressed. Business success, determined by wealth earning is seen by them an area they are sorely lacking so his success is considered a result of being "smart", if not accurate for all types of intelligences. In order to win on the conservative ticket, freedom of religion demands your tolerance and, really goes back to the days of the Pilgrims. You might want to remember that.

No one knows how he will bring jobs home exactly, except his constant insistance and reliance on being able to find the right people to get the job done, under budget and in record time. People voting for him, believe that about him.

But in actuality: he will not bring jobs back (because it is not good business), a business man who has used bankruptcy like it is oxygen, he supports abortion (throw religion out), he says he is really smart (laughable at best).

Bringing jobs back, can simply mean bringing well paid skilled jobs that do not require a college degree. Not good business to do so? I haven't heard that myself, you'll have to do more than make such a statement to convince me, at any rate. Bankruptcy is used by risk taking real estate developers all the time. It protects their personal assets. I would tend to personally avoid such drastic tactics since I am not into great risks with my own investments, but I have known plenty of others who have used the option, and since regained their wealth. The threshold for risk taking seems to be the common denominator here.

Plenty of people who have a belief in God, aren't particulary religious and make exceptions to standard dogma all the time. Your declarations of this being a qualifier towards exclusion is farcical.

He has put forth 0 legit proposals but yet he is the new madman for the conservatives. So, what is driving people to support him? My best guess from reading 100s of articles and 1000s of comments is they love him because he is a racist bigot. Shame on these people who mostly call themselves religious.

I think I have answered your questions already in my responses above. Please reread them to correct your rather poor understanding that allows you to choose hateful labelings of which you are prone to use, and exposes your own base intolerance.

Trump will ruin this country. He will in fact cut social security, medicare and any place else he can squeeze a penny out of. He will not reverse Obama care and if he does he will replace it with Trump care. Keep America great vote no on the bigot

I have no idea what will happen if he legitimately wins the Republican nomination. And even less what would happen if he beats the Democratic party's choice. My best guess is that his bluff will be called on many of his most outlandish and brash statements. I think if he secures the office of POTUS, there will be a huge demeanor change and he will attempt to mend many a broken fence. I don't think he will be motivated by money grubbing as his primary direction focus. I think his narcissism and meglomania will have him seeking a much more favorable and tempered image, at home and on the world stage. I think he has faith in his phoenix abilities to rise above the ashes of his self-destruction as viewed in his current political stumping image, and be rebirthed in whatever form he needs to be shaped into for Americans to believe in his vision for the future.

Bee, he won't change a thing as far as the establishment is concerned, he can't.

by beetree on 19 March 2016 - 16:03

@GSD I would need you to be specific on who, or what insitutions you include as the "establishment" to give a proper comment. Clarifying the "what" would help, too.

Depending on that, you could be right, but then the same could be said for Hillary. And especially Bernie.
