I be read them nonsensical thoughts that most dogs learn their lessons after a run in with these things, I know better.
I think round 2-3 and 4 are revenge assaults
Beau obviously showed that skunk who was the boss. Lol

We had a Siberian Husky that earned Squirrel Dog Outstanding, Cat Dog Outstanding, Raccoon Dog Outstanding, and Groundhog Dog Outstanding. She only got Excellent in Porcupine. She was a great blue jay decoy... she finally learned how to catch them :-(

Remembers me when my German bred and raised Nick Wienerau son met his first American bred skunk in the woods East of Santa Cruz, California.

He failed - and I had to live with him in the same trailer... no "recipes"...a nightmare for weeks...

During that time we not only learned about skunks, but about scorpions, rattle snakes, termites, and mountain lions, too...a very important part of my life.
Afterwards the "German" wildlife wasn´t able to afraid me any longer ...
