I bought a Lubeck son...Abor. He is PH1 Met Lof. Nice dog. Haven't owned him very long (3 weeks) but so far he is everything I have read about Lubeck. He also looks a lot like him. I love that he isn't huge and is very agile for a male shepherd. His hips are also excellent so that is always a bonus. He doesn't have any mature litters here yet, but I have big hopes that he will produce well.

I have a grandson and got given crap because there was a showline in the pedigree. Meh, I say.

The way I looked it(Like Susie said) it was done for a reason by someone who knew what they were doing.

We haven't done any bitework with a decoy the last 8 months or so, a guy who I trust and is knowledgeable said wait a bit longer, though was impressed with how hard he bit but then softened out like he didn't want to hurt you. He's pretty intense and I'd say determined( not using the word serious, until we decoy again) when you bring out a sleeve or tug now, in comparison to the happy go lucky pup that preffered meeting people than play tug at training.

Hahahahaha, sounds very familiar. Things today are just like they were back then, when it comes to showline x working crosses.

It wouldn't surprise me if he was a latebloomer, sometimes you just have to let them watch. :)
