Maybe you can Scan the registration or paperwork you were given or got from the breeder and/or AKC...Then people on here can tell you more on what you have and don't have...

Only the original has the date of registration-not a copy you make at home. I don't know Bob or his kennel but $800, even with limited registration, is not a lot to pay for a GSD.

Let's get off how much the dog cost, the point is the paper work. In some areas this is a good price in Gemany it is a standard price want to tell them their dogs don't deserve papers or the truth from the breeder/seller.
